  • Completely separate entities. Intervention, coaching, case management, and treatment navigation do not take place at any Cliff House location.

  • $275 a week.

    Why are we more expensive than other sober livings?

    • Half the residents relative to other sober livings equates to us being paid half the rent.

    • Desirable locations increases our expenses.

    • Fully updated housing increases our expenses.

    • Frequent fellowship events for 20 residents and alumni increases our expenses. Residents do not pay for anything when we have events.

    • Our mission is for you to achieve 1-year of sobriety. Our recommended stay is 1-year.

    • A plan to stay at Cliff for 1-2 months is probably not the best fit for us. However, we will help you find a more suitable option.

    • Post interview, Elizabeth and I do not engage in conversation around how long residents should stay at Cliff. Residents should lean on their support system to make that decision.

    • You will go through two interviews within 24-hours.

    • Text Cory to set up the first interview at (317) 289-9706.

    • At the end of first interview, Cory and potential resident will schedule 2nd interview ASAP.

    • Within an hour of 2nd interview being conducted, we will contact you with an answer.

    Co-Founder

    Elizabeth Fohrer, originally from Fishers, IN, and an Indiana University graduate, brings a decade of experience from public relations in major cities. A firm believer in therapy, her passion lies in recognizing how family dynamics intersect with addiction and recovery. She actively works an Al-Anon program, providing experienced-based support to families navigating addiction. Her background uniquely equips her to assist clients with career development, life and communication skills, and guiding families on how to react when a loved one is struggling.

    Cory Fohrer

    Co-Founder I Recovery Coach

    Cory Fohrer, an Indiana University graduate originally from Fishers, IN, brings invaluable personal insight to his role as a Recovery Coach. After spending nearly a decade in software sales while battling addiction, he found long-term sobriety through sober living in Southern California, building a foundation he now helps others achieve. Returning to Indiana in 2023 with his wife Elizabeth, he co-founded Cliff with a strong focus on aftercare planning, believing it is key to long-term sobriety. Cory actively works and guides others through the 12-Step program and is currently training as a case manager and interventionist. In his free time, he enjoys raising his son Ari with his wife Elizabeth, spending time with family, friends, and their dog, Banks.

    Erin Mooney

    Interventionist | Treatment Navigation

    Erin Mooney is a staple in the Indianapolis recovery community, bringing nearly 13 years of extensive experience across the full spectrum of addiction recovery services. Having served as an administrator at several treatment centers, her expertise is in Treatment Placement and strategic clinical vetting. Erin excels at curating optimal options and managing the logistics of admission, providing crucial support in the form of Interventions and Treatment Navigation. Her focus on building robust networks and the continuum of care equips her to guide clients toward sustained sobriety and essential resource connection.

    Gracie Whitlock

    Recovery Coaching

    Gracie offers a unique blend of professional experience (teaching, sales, real estate) and profound personal understanding from her own long journey in addiction recovery. Knowing firsthand what it feels like to be lost, she passionately believes that healing is possible, which led her to become a dedicated Addiction Recovery Coach. Inspired by the impact services like Cliff Coaching had on her as a client, Gracie now focuses on overall wellness and life coaching, helping clients rediscover their inherent strength and worth. When not guiding clients through recovery, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, son, pets, and three adult daughters, staying grounded through yoga and recovery meetings.

    Kyle Morris

    Kyle grew up in southern Indiana and attended Indiana University. Post-college he gained experience in pharmaceutical sales. Today he owns the top real estate firm in Carmel, IN, Morris Property Group.

    He is proof that you don’t need to work in addiction treatment to make an impact. Kyle’s entire team is in recovery, and they seem to have their hands everywhere in the recovery | addiction treatment industry. Whether it’s sitting on boards, helping open treatment centers, writing checks, or helping the next person suffering from addiction - you will see him moving the needle at different organizations. Cliff is no exception and we are so grateful for the time he gives us.

    Chief People Officer

    Banks joined the party in 2023 and is our lovable emotional support animal. As 80 lbs of Bernese Mountain Dog love, he’s the ultimate greeter after a long day and has never met a stranger.
